Ensuring Performance
The competitor will need to be accurate with leaving the least amount of untwist in each twisted pair. Thereby ensuring the best performance by limiting the amount of NEXT (Near End Cross Talk).
Maintaining Pair Integrity
The competitor will need to ensure that the cable jacket is maintained right up to the RJ45 Jack, which preserves pair integrity
E-Type or F-Type ezi-TOOL
The competitor can choose to use either the E-Type ezi-TOOL for horizontal RJ45 Jacks, or the F-Type ezi-TOOL for vertical RJ45-Jacks
Quickest Termination
The competitor will be timed and will strip the cable, lay the wires into the correct postions for either 568B or 568A configuration, and then crimp and finsh termination of the jack. The three fastest and correctly terminated attempts will each win a prize.
